Ebay and Xbox Live Cards

So I plan on buying a 12 month time card from Ebay. Apparently there is a big business selling them on there with lots of high ranking buyers.

I was wandering if anyone had any experience purchasing their time cards from ebay. I was wandering if I just paypal'd the seller the cash and then he or she emailed me the code. Simple.

Also most sellers tend to want to scan you the code THEN send it by email. Rather then send the actual plastic card. I cant help but feel these are all made by some sort of cracked code generator in some east european country.

I wouldn't buy them off ebay. Too risky. Just buy them from a local games store. More expensive? Maybe. More risky? No.

I brought my 12 month live card ( plus "Robotron" for free) on ebay, however I specifically asked them to send me the plastic card

I would listen to them since anyone could produce a fake 25-character code or enter the valid code. I mean, you wouldn't want to buy a card that has already been activated or a fake card for $20, right?

Go to the local games store and buy one. If you really want a cheap one, just go to Walmart!
