[What I've Done Collab]

Greetings fellow animators!

This is the thread for a new collab I'm setting up,
titled the "What I've Done Collab". This project
is really something else.

The point of this collab is to choose a videogame
wich has a very dark or serieus vibe. I'm talking
games like Gears of War, Mirror's Edge, Twilight
Princess.. Well, it has a wide range, but you won't
see Mario or Tetris. If you think you could make
a serious version of say, Pokémon, by say, focussing
on Mewtwo's story, you should show it here.

So choose a part, choose a game (only the same game
ONCE!), and be warned: IF SOMEONE OUTDO'S YOUR
PART, IT'S BEING REPLACED.

There are 15 parts, and they are in the ZIP file you can
download below. Instructions inside.

in ARIAL font. I will place them all good in
the end.

Yes. Basically, this song isn't fit for games like Super Monkey Ball or
Pac-Man. I want to bring a more serious side to this movie, instead
of videogame parodies. This means badass scenes and an cool dark
vibe. I'd say games like Okami, MGS4, Max Payne and even Shadow
of the Collosus.

It's really something else, and I think it would make an exellent collab.

I could do a scene based on one of the following:
Morrowind
Oblivion
Fallout 3
Munch's Odyssee
Portal
Prince of Persia (1-3 from the Xbox generation)
Halo (remember when the chief found out the ring kills all life?)

or I could do a skit about how I regret buying the Superman Returns game.
Really, it's hard to choose just one game to cover, but I think it'd be a good idea to go with the most recent of the games, Fallout 3. Again, I'm faced with a dilemma: what part of Fallout 3 fits the phrase, "What I've done," best?

Quite an interesting list, really. I can see Prince of Persia be very amazing. Fallout couls work, but the experience is different for every player.

i may do one for Fable... in the style of animation they used for the betweens shots. you know what i mean??

now... would we be recreating a scene... making up one of our own... or just making a tribute like animation??

Fable sounds interesting. I'd trust you could do a GREAT job. You can do your own scene, try not to make it a parody or a humor.

And the link in the first post is to a MegaUpload page, you type in the letters on scree, wait like 45 seconds and you can download the .zip with the 15 song parts in it. It worked for me and a couple of friends, should do fine for you. Maybe try another browser.

No preference. However, you are completely free to post
the file or your work so far (maybe draft sketches) here.
You can expect more comments on it that way. :)

I stated I want your name stated SOMEWHERE, because I will want to know how you'd like to be
creditted. I will add all the names in the same designing at the end.

The game will probably be obvious enough for me.
