In all seriousness, Marijuana will be legal in the near future. Medical weed is a step in the right direction but, like Basspro's teacher, the legalization of narcotics would save even more lives and suffering. Besides, the main reason why weed was outlawed in the first place was because a tabloid tycoon thought that hemp would cut into his paper business. It's wikipedia, but the article has the points down.

Marijuana is a medical herb and has many medical properties, and like any medication shouldn't be abused. I believe it should be legalized for medical purposes. As for it being a drug to smoke freely I'm still on different sides on that topic.

It sucks but... is weed legal? No, not nation wide. Maybe in some states, but the national law still prohibits it. Maybe if all those states succeeded, then we wouldn't have that problem.
