Hey, guys. I have a Demo of FL Studios 8, and I wanted to know, how do I isolate sections of a sample I've Inserted. Say, I added a song to the Sampler, how can I divide it so I just get the bass track? Is that possible? Do I need another program?

Sometimes you have to burn everything down, so you can have nothing at all.

It's quite a difficult task, I think you'll need something better than FL for isolation.

Yeah that's really hard/near impossible to do without damaging sound quality.

I once isolated lyrics with this one tool...
Can't remember the name, it was garbled anyway.
Which is cool for some genres.
But still.

So, how do I do it?

Most people don't bother with isolating like that. They'd rather reverse engineer it A.K.A. play by ear and use a similiar sounding instrument. :D
