I've always wondered, why put i before things?
Does anyone know why it is iUsed, or what the iHell it means?
I'm so high...
other companies try to use it as well... its meant to me be like ipod is your pod, you can see the i as a verb or as a way of making it a personal thing... if they made it upod then it would be so personal ... would it..
its called marketing

It's a nonsense advertising technique to make things seem edgy and futuristic... Remember the 90's, when everything had an e in front of it? Next decade it's probably gonna be o... to keep in trend with the whole vowel thing they got going on...
Maybe I'll show her my O-face... OH! OH! OH! OH! OH! OH! OH!

Or maybe "a". Dr.Scholl should look into making a new type of shoe sole. Call it the aSole.
I always thought it was short for 'information age' since so many other companies besides Apple use it, but apparently not. I found this forum here. The consensus seems to be that the 'i' stands for 'internet.'

E meant electronic, and is still used today.
I stands for what? Idiotic? Internet-enabled?
iDon't Know. iThink it's because they like to distinguish their iThings from the other brands. But iAm not sure...

Thanks for clearing that up about the E-use.
I was afraid I still use something thats dead.
I mean cmon, E-Whatever is so much better than iWhatever.

They stole it from the Internet-ams dog food company.
I'm just waiting for the iCock to be released. I heard it holds 16GB and vibrates up to 3 hours.
