A luigi drawn on paper, traced and colored on photoshop. So what do you think?

Also...Any tips on drawing hands?

Gun is decent. Luigi is not. Work on anatomy. The body is all out of shape and the head is far too large. If you were going for a cartoony style, it doesn't fit together very well. Colouring is mediocre; experiment with the different tools and options in photoshop, especially how to create layers on multiply mode to add shading. In regards to hands, look up "Hand tutorial" on deviantart.com, there's some very good ones.

this is what i call wasted effort, dont worry this happens to me a lot too. you work hard on something but then all it gets is negativity. you need to improve your skill, try some art books or online tutorials and get better acquainted with your digital art programs.

and thats mama-luigi to you.

I'm sad to say that the gun wasn't mine...It was a free gun library....

Ok how about this: (Ignore all the luigi's except the one on the upper right.)

You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else.

Don't use gradients unless you know how to use them properly, otherwise your art will have a very amateur look to it.

The 2nd pic was okay, the Luigi holding the flames looked quite nice.

I knew this luigi was better.

Now any chance anybody knows how to animate him instead of drawing him a million times again?

Also, what do you think of this smooth luigi: LINK

Nevermind everything else, just luigi himself, does the animation look good and smooth as I think it is?

Done with the bone tool.

You crazy kids and your grand notions of computers doing things for you. There's tweens, but they're really for objects, not people.

Frame-by-frame. Get used to it. 30 frames a second; 1800 frames a minute. Lots of time to practice.

bone tool

Ah, cs4?
a tip, don't outline the top edge, or delete the outline entirely... it'll look better without the black line intersecting the pants..
