With my previous account, I was a lurker, and only posted rarely.

However; now I think I am a bit of both.

I'm a pseudo-poster. Many times I'll make a long, well thought out post pertaining to a topic, even if the topic was nonsensical in the first place. Then, after making sure everything sounds right and I feel comfortable with posting it, I'll go back to browsing General without ever posting it. It's not always well thought out posts that I do this with either, sometimes it'll be something funny, but the result is the same.

I still do not understand why I do this.

I'm a little of both, I'l post only when I have something to say...

Anyways, my post to only read ratio is like 1:4.
I read a lot more than I post because most of the topics don't interest me.

Same, and i would assume that most of Newgrounds falls under this catagory too.

I've been here for about a day and I have nearly fifty posts. Not that fifty is a huge milestone, or anything, but it's easy to see that I am more of a poster than a lurker.

I'm a lurker, but needless to say you could observe it at my post/date sighned ratio.

I'll post if I see the need to contribute -- or derail the thread.

I'm mostly a lurker i suppose, but I reply if I find something interesting/funny/annoying you should feel privileged.

I lurk the forums more than I post, always have really. I look at the BBS everyday and have done for most of the time since my sign up date, but don't really have anything to show for it because I never really post. Normally someone's already said what I was going to say in that thread anyway so I never really get round to posting in that thread.

I'm some what both I post when I can think of something to type up and if not I go back to lurking.

Unless I stumble upon a worthwhile topic, I wont post. I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just that I don't have anything compelling to say in 99% of the topics I see around here. Also, like Rabid said, most of the cool regulars from before are long gone. I'm not saying that there aren't any cool regulars now, I just don't have the time to meet them. Plus, it seems to me now that I'm no longer part of this board's major demographic.

Which brings up the point of why squander any of my time lurking around at all. I guess some of that's just habit, really. I'm not completely sure though; I've spent considerable time pondering this point in the past.

I used to post in every single thread I visited, even if I had nothing to add, though now I just post when I see an opportunity to post something that will either contribute or help people out. It's quite rare for a thread to come along that I feel that I need to post in there.

To be a good and constructive user, you need to lurk before you post. If you just spam everywhere for the sake of post-count, you haven't done anything productive with your time in the first place.

im a poster if theres threads on the BBS that interest me, and im a lurker when theres only shit threads on the BBS
