4.09 / 5.00 15,161 ViewsOk, so i am basically still at the early stages discovering flash, and i have reached the stage when i wonder if i should buy a wacom board...
Okay, so all of the guys i have asked so far sez: 'depends on what youre gonna use it for', but ive ever had any great answer until today!
I use flash every day... mostly for programming, but i do animating quite a lot as well... Sometimes i import pictures from the internet and trace them manually with brush or line-tool (and make drastic changes) but i really dont like doing it!
I was thinking of buying Bamboo fun A5 wacom tablet/wacom board...
Anyonne that knows something better for me?
prizes and types!

Depend where you're at artistically. There's a lot of debate, but ultimately I'm in the camp where if you aren't comfortable drawing on pen and paper, a tablet will be a little more hassle than if you take the time to learn drawing first.
If you can comfortably say that you have a decent amount of talent, then buy all means go for it. I use a Wacom Intous 2, which I bought for around $200 awhile back, but that's because it's about 12 x 12, so it's really big. It's worth it to save your cash and buy a decent one though, because ultimately, it's going to be a decision you ride with for quite some time, like buying a vehicle, so it's important to make sure you get one you're happy with. I used the basic logic on going for the bigger and expensive one of 'I won't complain that it's too big, but I can see myself complaining that it's far too small.'
that's what she said

I do voices.
okaaay!!
i messed it up... srry fr waisting your valuable time :'(
12x12? shit...I bought my 6x8 tablet for $300
It's actually the perfect size for me. A square tablet won't work of me since I have a wide monitor

Ahh! thank you jonas! i know about small wacom tablets... (my friend bought one lol)
and i have at least some exp. in drawing not as much as i want to tho... but i belive if i make myself common with drawing on a wacom tablet quicly, then it would be easier to draw later on (i still have some drawingskills!)
glad to see someone took their time to reply (althought i may did something wrong :p)
