i admit i didnt watch the whole story at the end as i realised what was coming so i skipped it

but graphically i LOVE the new one, it just looks phenomenal

I was so fucking pissed when they just go ahead and show you all the stories, the spots (CHECK OUT XGAMES OMFGOMFGOMFGOFMGOFMGOFMG) and a whole bunch of covers, THAT FUCKING RUINS THE POINT OF THE GAME >:\

And also the demo isn't nearly as long as the old one, which was near 20-25 mins of game time.

But I disagree with jezuz on the object moving, I thought that was entertaining and a neat addition. Nothing quite like setting up a park bench on the other side of the roll-in jump, then watching my guy bail.

And the camera tripod/follow options infinitely improve the camera.

also about the earning money for bails, its not money, its just the score of the bail, and gives you a far better breakdown of what you actually did when you fucked up on that huge gap :)

Remember the skate 1 demo was a bit glitchy, so skate 2 might be like that too.
I think I will just wait until the game is out later this month, dont want to ruin anything.

I have to agree, It is indeed a great game, but the demo is shocking, I wanted a free skate not this timed campaign bullshit.

my advice is dont bother with going for the challenges, you get more time if you just dick around from the off.

Nope, I wouldn't say it's made me want the game any more than I did, and making a no time limit on the free skate in a small location wouldn't effect sales as anyone who is happy with just playing a tiny free skate isn't going to be buying the game anyway. it might of been ok a few years ago, but these days with such great demo's I would expect more.

But the old demo you could play for 25 minutes or so (over double the time, I know, but it included an unskippable tutorial and you had to reload the demo from the dashboard), in an area that was, to all extents, largely the same. It was bigger, but significantly emptier. This demo also included two hotseat multiplayer modes, both a good laugh, one new.

I think this, as far as demos go, is pretty good.

already downloaded it, and at the loading screen I realised it was better than skate 1 (the loading screens look alot prettier and are alot shorter) and you can even get of your board so you can finally walk stairs instead of having to skate a mile

I didn't play the first one but the second one seems to have extremely stiff skating controls, the idea behind using the stick to control the tricks was well implemented and satisfying, but I felt as if just maneuvering was a pain, this was also apparent when walking as well.

At first, the thought of being able to get off your board and walk around seems pretty epic. But once I tried it, I'm not so sure now. The animation looks terrible and moving objects feel awkward.

Idk maybe graphics CAN sometimes overcome gameplay.
