Sometimes the collective knowledge of a forum's users can provide better information than a google search. Those topics are also what links people here from their own google searches about similar problems. Not only does that creat more revenue and page traffic, but sometimes we get more members.

Though I do agree that many topics made could have simply been solved by a search...

Back in the day we used to just say "search bar", but the concept is the same.

I was aware of that....And you are right. Forums are what google stumbles on if you look for something.
But you know what you do? Here's what you do; You go to google, and AFTER google failed on you...You come on a forum. It's that simple. The first thing you should always do is just google it...

I think it's good that people ask stupid questions, because it makes other people horribly annoyed and I can bask in the warmth of of their red cheeks. I don't think it's a good idea to prove that you smoke (not that a picture of someone being stoned is evidence of anything) but then again I don't come here to find good ideas, I come here to shed some light and maybe light some shed. ANYHOO stay angry, let it fester inside you and eventually -if you're lucky- you might explode in a fantastic shower of blood!
