I was waiting for someone to say this, because i kinda agree. The only thing of everything in this thread that caught my eye was the little light-reflecting lines on the orbs in the first pic. Pretty weird thing to notice.

Weirdly, I kinda like them. They have quite an organic, childish appearance about them, and it works quite well. I believe the artistic term is Art Brut.
From a technical perspective, they're nothing special. I'm guessing it's intentional, but the proportions are all wrong in the faces, and it's all fairly simple..

The first pic was kinda cool, but nothing special. It all went downhill from there. Like that dude said, effortless.
Also please come back when you're 13, as per NG rules.

Please come back when your more mature. Just because he isn't a great artist doesn't mean he's not 13. Besides you really think that the youngest person on NG is 13??

Well, isn't this nice? An eager member decides to show his work just to get some useful feedback and he's deemed childish and inexperienced beyond saving just because his art makes it look like he is? Way to make him feel welcome and aided.
Magumanu, you just keep doing what you're doing, ignore the rest.

Everyone that says "because of your art, you're saying he's immature and young," simply can't read. The first few words consisted of "I'm 12," so, he is young. I wouldn't doubt that he's immature.
And yes, the drawings are simple. But they have a friendliness to them that I like. I don't know if it's an intentional style, or because he hasn't developed technique yet, but it works. Keep at it.

To be honest, the only ones I don't really like are the faces. They just seem too simplistic. I do, however, like the strong contrast between warm and cool colors in your last picture.

I'm telling you the same thing I told gassyturtle: (copy/paste!)
ok, seriously... 75% of your image is the notebook/scanner cover. No one cares about the spiral binding! Start cropping to the image or I'm deleting the whole thread! gggrrrr! >:(

What's up with that? As long as we can see the image I don't see why you care so much about the spiral?

You need to spend some time on your art. Add some detail, make something interesting.

Fair enough, I didn't read the first lines, I merely looked at the images.
My point however still stands, as age =/= maturity or level of skill. Furthermore, raw outbursts of creativity like this shouldn't be condemned but rather welcomed, regardless of perceived 'quality'. You don't simply say 'no, wrong' to things like this, what you should do is pass on your knowledge and act as a guide so he can channel his enthusiasm and become a better artist.

i dunno dude at a young age i was tempted to draw dragons, swords, and trees
as maturity rises so does your mental capability to pull the "original" art
people think more when they get older the more you think the more your art will flourish :I

Art can't be wrong. Art is a way of letting your creativity flow, thats the point of it... There is no right and wrong in art, only preference.
