Hmm, I used Digg a while back, this is definitely a good idea to most hits and views etc...

I like how NG is starting to dive into the whole twitter/digg/etc kinda things. It's gonna be great.

Anyway, being a huge NG fan, I'd like to help out with this. I'm familiar with digg and how it works. I was (and still am) into the whole "make money online" blogging/flipping sites kinda thing, and one thing out of the many I learned was how to get the word out about your site, get visitors, etc... Digg is a great tool to do this, if you know how to use it correctly.

Here's my Digg account I usually just use it to try and promote my own youtube videos (with little success) but I would be happy to digg any Newgrounds cartoons I feel are good enough to deserve my digg.

So basically you submit the link to the digg page and then it has to be approved first for it to get on the page where people can digg it. --> http://www.jgames.ch/digg.php

About every day a new game will be approved. So you will always have 2 games that you can digg on the page.

As you can see, I'm relatively (or very, since I signed up mere minutes ago) new to the site, though I'd love to help the site and this seems like a great way to help the site. I could probably post about once or twice most weeks on Digg, though it may well vary. The times I would sign on would be quite a large variety, so I don't think I could say an exact time, or even an approximate one.

I'd like to monitor this thread quite a bit, and Digg the majority of the things that are linked to in this thread.

how much experience you have with Digg

Been going there for about a year now. Never decided to sign-up until recently. Even now, my account is catching dust. I only really ever sign-in to comment on what someone had to say/post a thread. I check Digg everyday.

As often as you'd like. I'm on this thing daily. (On my PC, not necessarily NGs.) I don't post here much as I don't find much to do. This will give me something to do.

Really depends. I'm on the computer several different times a day. Generally speaking, I'm mostly on during mornings and late-night hours.

I can monitor this topic and everything else at the same rate I monitor Digg, daily.

Also, so far I've added (almost) everyone and Digg'd everything.

I've dugg the first two Newgrounds submissions that have been added. I'm also scanning the portal for recent submissions with high scores, the well-received Flashes have far more chance of being enjoyed than the flashes with low scores, for the obvious reason that people do vote higher on Flashes that they enjoy than those that they don't.

I'll only be digging NG submissions, so if you check my Digg history you'll find all the NG submissions I have dugg, so help out and Digg them. I haven't created any at the moment, though I'll add a few soon.

I'm certainly curious about this new venture into setting up a Digg 'crew' but I'm not entirely convinced its for the right thing...it seems as though we'd be manufacturing our interest in something rather than getting hits on stories that people generally enjoy seeing. If we have a huge Digg Crew than surely most of the diggs are coming from Newgrounds members not from unique hits...

Having said that Digg seems to be running that way anyway and a group of 'power users' with hundreds of friends are dominating some of the constant front-page stories.

It doesn't feel very Newgrounds'ish' doing this but experimenting with networking to improve Newgrounds popularity is something I'd be willing to at least try.

I just made an account a few minutes ago. This seems like a really great idea. I'd be glad to help in any way :) I'll be able to post updates for Newgrounds and it's flash regularly, since I'm on the computer a lot.

2. Wait for a mod or Wade to come delete the stupids posts.
3. Better yet LET US KNOW the stupids have posted, so we can delete their posts.
