anyways, you need to work on character design. Your characters are really dull, and it generally looks boring.

I like your i love nerdgrounds page. I think you should make it your effort to have as confident of line work as that page. Your other sketches are nice but you should try to make it your effort to be confident and feel free. Try to commit to your pencil/pen strokes. Dont be scared if you fuck up. I always hate it when artists do that 'furry' pencil stroke in their drawings. It makes me angry cause its a sketchbook, if you cant feel like you have no boundaries to conform to there, then where?

I liked that first one, its got a nice concept to it. Your art is pretty good RK :).
Luis- What if that type of lineart is your style? It wouldn't really be that your covering where you've messed up, more that you want it to be like that.

I guess if its your style then its your style, i just personally think you miss out on the expressive power of line quality. Anyway it was just a suggestion, in the end its your/his sketchbook and he could do that if you want... i think you'd get more learning out of it to really experiment more in a sketchbook.

Yeah I get what you mean, I use that style as well because I find it awkward to draw any other way.
