Welcome to the
Monthly (rule #10) Audio Contest 2009 - January-February Valoltine!.
Valoltine!?
It is where you lol in victory on Valentines.
This particular month's theme is remarkably something insanely original. Similar in quality but different in tone. Last MAC the goal was to make a determined piece. This MAC we find ourselves gazing into the eyes of your loved one.
I know you're reading this on NG and if you're anything like me, you're going to have to make them up (Palmela Handerson doesn't count i'm afraid).

So think of that pure joy and warmth as you reach out for them. As they embrace you and you're both just lost to the moment. Make that joy into song, that feeling of love. For the trance electronica artists this will likely involve a lot of sugary reverbed piano melodies. I look forward to diving through a pool of said reverb and pianos.
But seriously, there is fine differences between euphoria, and joy. I've heard the differences in many of your tracks, let's see you guys hone in and see if you can tap into that certain energy.
About the Contest this month
- You are allowed to submit 2 pieces of music to be judged. We ask that you do not throw in any more this time.
- You are NOT ALLOWED to submit old pieces of music to this, or any other future MAC (unless we have a nostalgic MAC, not happening soon).
Only entries made for the MAC can deserve to earn from it.
Awards
The awards this time around will be slightly different. Still using the X credits system we are now adding an additional $30 store credit per prize. This store credit can be used for goods in the store, but cannot be converted to regular credit.
You can also opt some of your regular credits converted to store credit and take even moreNG merchendisehome with ya ;D!!!! Just PM Bob to make the change after filling out the winners form.
Credits?
We explained credits last MAC but here it is again in case.
If you win 200 credits, you can say "I want this shirt, this keychain, this DVD, and the rest of the credits in money". So We simply take away however much the shirt/keychain and DVD are from the credit pile and you get what's left over. We strongly encourage supporting fellow artists by taking home a DVD or shirt.

- With the addition of Revenue Split between Flash artists and musicians a great entry can look to earning a bit extra then what we give here by the exposure they gain!
