Ahaha, me and my friends make a line down the hallway, and go really slow, until we have like the entire school behind us.

We didn't have huge sports fields and there was no such thing as being a jock/sports hero and passing everything cause you were good at sports. Also no sports scholarships or cheerleader bimbo's or anything.
As a matter of fact there were no bimbos at my school (not when I attended there)

Freshman friday does exist. Not like it does in movies though. The people who are victims are the freshmen who hang around with the failure upperclassmen who do drugs and shit. But largely it doesn't exist and I think your points are pretty accurate.

our school was centred around drama and art / media

BUT we had HUUUUUUUUUGE sports fields and we had some of the best sports teams in the county and therefore had sporting icons who were either current students or alumini

mean girls is not a very good representation of high school either, but it does show how the school splits into cliques which happens at most schools, at least at mine it does.

Oh, fuck yes. I can remember watching shows on CN and Nick about kids going to high school, and when I reached it, there was no similarity at all. I mean, at all. Some movies are better at this, cartoons are the worst. They make high school look like a good thing.

my HS was absolutely NOTHING like ANY show i've ever gazed upon... although i'd do it agin for the lol

2 of my friends which shared the same class as me tried to give me a swirly but we ended up getting my other friend he was pretty pissed off.

My high school never had lockers or was inside or had a lunch area.

we have lockers in my school but we use padlocks and not those combination locks that are always in movies

heh i remember on my first day of highschool i was afraid their would be some sort of bully gang or something that would kick the crap out of me and then flush my head down a toilet.
though there is some people getting bullied in my skhool they never targeted me or my friends

High-school isn't the same for everybody...

All these movies made me think when I was in 8th grade that I'd be getting some huge locker in high school. These lockers at my high school school turned out to be a third of the size I'd seen in movies, and they're thin as f**k. You get a bottom, middle, or top locker and they decide where it's located based on homeroom, which we go to about 3 times a year.

When kids wan that drama bullshit it will happen (like you give to shits about your girlfriend)
