Highschool isn't like what its portrayed to be in film and television for the following reasons.
1. I was never abused by older kids when I was a freshman
2. There's no real jock crowd, its mostly skaters
3. Nobody gets thrown in the dumpster or given a swirly
4. There is no freshman Friday. End of fucking story.
5. Nobody gets beaten for no reason (Double negative bitch)
6. Troy McGinty is not going to stand outside of the school wearing a leather jacket and a T-Shirt revealing the name of his next victim. He also wouldn't be afraid of McGoogles the Highland Frog because he would have noticed that Max's dad was in the costume the entire time. (5 points to those that can get this reference)

Feel free to add.

NOTE: It's currently 3:01 AM where I am, I have school in the morning, and I can't seem to get to sleep. Can you tell that I'm bored yet?

High School was dramatic/traumatic, but it wasn't anything like mtv or films would make it out to be. Maybe those schools are just too crazy and rich (or obscenely poor and corrupt?) to have any real world relevance?

I remember everything about any movie I've ever watched. This movie was released in 2001 when I was 8 and a half.

No need to. Reality is one thing, movies are another. It's just like porn movies, they give people a false perception of how it really is.

Also, Scary Movie 1 "Yeah, and they'd probably get guys in their late 20's, early 30's to play us" "Ahaha, yeah, and get some bimbo like Jeniffer Love 'Huge tits' to play me"

The "not getting beaten up for no reason" part doesen't stand for me. I don't even know the fuckers half the
time. Apperantly, at my school, if you don't listen to rap, or have a shaved head, then you're punished for anti-conformism.

Haha, the ending song in Disaster Movie is a pretty comical approach to this phenomena too.

Ohh!!! I remember watching this movie, i forget what it was called, but it was about some freshman kid and his 2 friends, and he had a fat friend and a girl who was a friend, and there was an ice cream man, and the petting zoo thing, and tony hawk, and he knew Troy was affraid of that frog or something and that's how he like, defeated him or something. It was a long time ago, haha.

I even didn't have lockers.
What's up with those hallways filled with lockers in the movies?

Your school must not have had the budget. That sort of thing was real, but only big cities had the insane student numbers and massive hallway locker clutter you usually see. Factually, there were/are schools with thousands of studants in the same building at any given time in a school day.

Oh wait, all the rich prep kids already act and dress like they're from HSM.

At least they don't break out in mass-choreographed song there like they did at my high school.

I will never get the G major key out of my head...

Ahaha, me and my friends make a line down the hallway, and go really slow, until we have like the entire school behind us.
