i going to make my own madness series but dont know much on what to use for animation and stuff

I agree, Paint is the best special effects add on you could possibly want. I used paint in all of my animations. It's really great.

To animate we use a program called Adobe Flash. You can find a link to download the trial, along with a bunch of helpful tutorials, here. All Flash related inquiries you may have belong to the Flash Forum.

I'd just like to add that you shouldn't expect yourself to be able to make any quality animations without plenty of time and practice. This is something you have so submit yourself to. But this is just me breaking reality into you before you get your hopes high...
