After the success of ***The Pixelmas Shorts***, I figured I should give another pixel collab a shot. :)

It's The Pixtropolis Collab!

CONCEPT

You animate a part of the song, Metropolis by ParagonX9 using pixels. The part MUST take place in a city! No exceptions.

PART LIST

Each Part, (excluding Preloader, Menu, and Credits) is a cut part of the song.
You will animate the part to the selected part of music.

As many people can make a part, but please know that if your part doesn't meet a quality standard that it WILL NOT be used!

Stage Size: 550x400

Label Symbols With Your Username (I.E. brick = Mexifry_brick)

RULES
1. NO SPRITES, CREW FIGURES, OR STICKS!
2. You may use the Vcam
3. ALL PARTS MUST TAKE PLACE IN A CITY AND BE PIXELATED!
4. Make the parts appropriate. I don't want a 17+ rating.
5. DO NOT USE OTHER SOUNDS THAN THE MUSIC PROVIDED, UNLESS SPECIFIED BY YOUR PART. (I.E. the menu and credits.)
6. DO NOT BITCH ABOUT COAUTHORS!
7. Must be CS3 or Lower.
8. If you claim the part of the meun, you are expected to do bioses along with it.

FAQ

Q: How do I make my part pixelated if I can't use sprites?

A: You use the flash extension called Pixel Tools 2.0. You can download the flash extension from the link below.

Q: Are you just using Pixels as a lame gimmick?

A: No actually. Ever since I saw Rtil's Move Your Feet video, I fell in love with the pixel tools. i think it is a unique way of animating that would be cool if it would catch on. If you think it's just a lame gimmick, then frankly, you don't have to watch it.

Q: Is there a due date?

A: Yes. All Parts Are Due President's Day Weekend. For you Non-American's that is February 14th-16th

I have plenty of experience doing animations, none which I have bothered submitting.

I'll PM you if you wanna see what my animation experience is like, because I haven't bothered submitting anything to the portal, because I've never mustered up enough courage to submit an animation without much humor or a plot.

Also, that song is orgasmic. I heard it when it was released, since I'm a frequent visitor of the Audio Portal, and I still love it. ParagonX9 knows how to do good stuff.

It's only a shame that my music exams are now in January, so I can't distract too much. But don't worry, because not only will I have more than enough time when the exams are over, but I can also find time during the exams. So it's not really a time issue, it's more of a stress problem D:

I just had to make a music video to this song! :D

It's only a shame that my music exams are now in January, so I can't distract too much. But don't worry, because not only will I have more than enough time when the exams are over, but I can also find time during the exams. So it's not really a time issue, it's more of a stress problem D:
