Tim Burton. I was a huge fan of his when I was younger. I still am a huge fan; his films are just mesmerizing.

I lack a hero.

It's not religion which will destroy us, be the root of social discomfort and cause conflict but misinterpretation.

Mel Gibson. He became my hero after seeing his movies. The first being "The Patriot" a movie set during the American Revolution. His war movies impressed me the most but I still enjoyed his other movies.

However, I started to slowly lose interest in him over the years and he lost MAJOR respect from me a few summers ago when he was caught drinking and driving, went on an anti-Semitic rant and made a sexist comment to a female police officer at the police station.
