User image issues. 2009-01-04 11:09:24 Reply

Hey dudes.

So I've been trying to upload my user image, and it keeps uploading, clicking save changes, blah blah it says "yeah not a problem your changes have been saved"

However, doesn't show up when I wander onto my profile. So any ideas? Or do you guys actually see it?

Yes I've cleared my cache a million times, deleted my cookies etc.

That sometimes happens when I go to see whatever I newly uploaded.
If it doesn't appear, I refresh the page again right on the spot.

So see if refreshing the page helps.

Usually, refreshing doesn't help. All you have to do is do a little thing called refreshing your cache. It's similar to refreshing, and does the same things, but it's a tiny bit stronger. To do this, just press F5.

If that doesn't work, then I'm afraid I can't help you..

Sigh, yes I've refreshed it, yes I've uploaded it over and over, sorry guys, not helping =(.

By "it keeps uploading", do you mean that the tiny "uploading animation" never finishes? If that's the case, disable your firewall and then try uploading it again.

It's something at your end. Try temporarily disabling any "security" software such as McAfee, Norton, AVG etc and upload again. If the problem persists, try another browser.
