Lately i've had a sudden facination for palindromes.
Words or sentences that can be spelled forward or backward and say the same thing.
They are just pretty cool to me..
Easy example would be Racecar.
Harder one would be Murder for a jar of red rum.
Both of those can be spelled backwards and say the same thing.
Let's see NG can you find any good palindromes or think of one on your own??

I'm going to play that in reverse and see if I start chanting verses of the Koran.

Palindromes are hard in English. I used to make pretty good ones in Finnish, though. Finnish has a much simpler, more straightforward way of spelling various syllables. English has too many strange consonant combinations that just don't work well for palindromes.

Satan, oscillate my metallic sonatas.
The only odd one I know. Learned it back in high school and never forgot because of how random it was.

I don't remember what those things were called... You know, when you write a word in an artistic way so that it reads the same when it's flipped. There's a name for it, but I don't remember what it is :/

ITT: people copy and paste palindromes from the web.
Not very good discussion material.
