God, look at what the liberals have done now. Has anyone seen that cartoon that uses the Lord of the Rings spoof on Bush? Well it's a very brainwashing toon to try and steer people away from voting him again. Well you do what you gotta do, but that was just ridiculous. I guess I'll see alot of this from now until November, so I shouldn't be too suprised. I'll just have to laugh against it and shake my head no. It'll be fun to see the pathetic attempts of "new" anti-Bush videos.

Well, I doubt its slander so it’s perfectly fine to make it. If you hate it so much, fight it with a clever pro-Bush Flash of your own.

Those tricksters, the 'newgrounds-over 18-US resident' vote alone will destroy Bush, surely.

I doubt you would have reacted the same way if the cartoon was about Howard Dean.

Hah, 70ta dont bother

If you wanna start whinging about political cartoons mocking your idols then you had better live a long life if you wanna get through them all.

But anyway, yeah I am from New Zealand, or for the purposes of this post (middle earth) and last night I was watching something on Return of the King, it was on 20/20 or something I think, American coverage of the filming of the last moments or so of the trilogy.

The moment I turned to my big sister and said "I wonder if we can make it through this thing without hearing a war on terror rant."

As if on cue...."The Lord of the Rings has struck such a chord with the people of today, we live in a world where good people are beset by evil and blah blah blah"

Oh the laughter, it was beautiful. I find it amusing that America is still able to convince itself that it is the underdog...thats mass denial on an enormous scale, worthy of the record books.

lol, tio, that was beautiful. i heard that bullshit start when the first one came out, about how this world is about good and evil in these post 9-11 times, and LOTR represents the struggle of americans v. terrorists. yeah, way to ruin a good movie, drench it in political propaganda.
