I remember the classic "Maus loves bouncing tits" sig and DaSadGirl's graffiti correction to it. Those were classic comedy sig pics.

Remember when a user called "xito" post anti-American messages on every anti-Osama flashes he can find? He was able to get away with that because the review system was lax back then, I registered into this site as a response to that review troll and hence my first username called "xitosucks"

It's a stupid reason to create an account but that's what I did, eventually changed it several months later which is about nearly a year

I had a habit of responding to other people's reviews in my reviews, it wasn't a good thing but remember the system was lax so I was able to get away with it as well

Let's just say it's as abusive as the ones that could get you banned for several years if those reviews were written with current system on

I remember when we have to endure all those pop-ups few years ago way before the redesign to deposit experience points and rack up those blams and saves before they became saves and blams. hahahaha, I also registered just to comment on a review made by IMTWISTEDX back in 03. I don't even want to show it since it's so embarrassing. But yeah I miss the review system being more relaxed.

It was a different time then. There was no punishment for making reviews that were just statements or comments. unless you posted a link to outwar you could just say whatever you wanted. Also there was no need to use correct grammar, every1 i kno used 2 type like dis nd it caught on every were xcept message boards (Livejournal chatrooms gaming sites ect). But no one gave a shit about how stupid it made them look because anything said on the internet was separate from real life.

Until I really started becoming a regular here typing proper was essential otherwise no one will take you seriously. And of course when they started getting stricter with leaving constructive reviews only I lost interest.

I don't mind you saying that at all, but to be fair if you had known my other account (which I don't keep secret really) I would have thought you wasting your time to find the account and the review and then to post the review to be pretty hilarious and pathetic. ;)

Can't say I remember a guy called xito...

But I do remember the more relaxed system back then. I mean for example, you used to bump the DBZ crew all the time and seemed to get away with it... Although to be fair you might have been banned I just wouldn't really know.

These animated sigs are reminding me of a little sig trend back in 2006 where people made threads on the BBS saying "Post here and I'll add you onto my sig." I made a thread myself, and the sig said "the following users will die" and then came a long list of users. If I still have it somewhere, I could show it here. It's another reason why I miss animated sigs on the BBS.

I started out as Kornfreaker2003 (what a truly horrible nickname) in January ´03, with horrid spelling and picture spamming galore! Also, I was on dial-up back then and NG made my mother's internet bills go BOOM ^^

Yeah, Livecorpse...we talked a lot back then, before he passed away, mostly about how to KILL illwillpress and his horrible flood of Foamy bullshit. I was also part of the UCFD group, together we managed to churn out many, many anti-Foamy flashes on the 19th Dezember of 2003 (Anti-Foamy Day).

We got a lot of shit by Tom & Wade and some of us were almost IP banned just for bashing their most profitable flash "artist"....good times.

I'm still waiting for the search function to be re-implemented and I remember when Jim told us "the search will be back after THE WEEKEND" - haha ^^

Also, I remember being part of the OCP (Obsessive Compulsive Posters) club, where we tried to outclass each other in terms of speed-posting....back then, when I had no social life :P

...and now? I'm dwelling in my old metal club, post sporadically, submit my band's audio and watch a few flash movies once in a while. I've just grown old I think.
