I've been watching more Next Generation. 12 episodes into season 2, and it's much, much better than season 1.

The Next Generation just keeps getting better. I just finished watching every episode, and now I'm watching The Original Series. It's definately a great show.

I've sort of stopped watching Next Generation. I watched seasons 1-3 back to back, but got bored of it 2 or 3 episodes in season 4 and starting watching other stuff instead. I should get back into it.
I'll probably not see the film in the cinema. Wait for the DVD.

I wanna join! I love Star Trek. I haven't really watched much of the original series, but I've seen a lot of The Next Generation, DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise. I wouldn't consider myself a full-blown trekkie, but I watch Star Trek whenever it's on.
Also, I can't wait for the movie this summer. I'm seeing it the day it comes out.

I watched a bit more TNG. Watched the episode where Riker passes out from some gas, and wakes up 16 years in the future, with no memory of the time in between. It was pretty good. I'm 8 episodes into season 4, and so far I definitely preferred season 3.

I've mostly watched the original series, but I've seen some Next Generation as well. I'm infatuated with Leonard Nimoy and for me, nothing can compare to the original.

The series really gets good around season 5+6.
And to sensationalism... yes, the picard song is amazing- much better than the worf song IMO.

To be honest, with TOS you're looking about about 1 good episode to every 2 bad ones, and of those good ones only about 1 in 3 is great.
