Make a flier with tear off tabs of your address and phone number, along with the price and a picture of the chair as the center of attention. Post the flier up at as many community cork boards you can find. They are usually found at local supermarkets, but around here we even have them at Dicks Sporting goods, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. The stores usually take all advertisements down after a couple weeks, or a month to make space for other people, so check back every other week to re post your advertisement.
Another free method of local advertisement is Craigslist.
Ebay has already been mentioned, but it's best to use every resource you can if you really want to get something sold.
