I also have some thoughts on raising children.

I honestly probably wouldn't buy my kid all the cutesy shit most parents do. I find it a bit weird.

I'd also raise my child differently than most people as well, like I wouldn't raise my kid to believe in Santa Clause, or those stupid "boogiemans", and I wouldn't raise him or her in any religion whatsoever, because there's nothing more devastating on someone than when you believe or worship something you've been raised to think is real, and then come to find out, it's all horseshit.

If my child wants to get involved in religion later in life, that's their choice, but I'm not going to raise them under something that has gotten me absolutely no-where in my life.

The cutsie shit isn't really for the baby so to say the cutesy shit is to keep my Fiancee' ina calm stae because we actually already had a scare and everytime she gets worked up her entire body cramps up , scary shit if you are actually present.

As for raising the kid, the only thing iam going to push and very subtly is martial arts My dad was a golden Glove and i am a 2nd degree black belt. Iam not going to teach him just for self defense but the philosophy of martial arts as well so they will be able to understand what it is to have principals( this is going to back fire trying to explain the significance of honor/humility to a 5 month old ) :D
