I want this to be the year that we capture the eyes of the rest of the web, and not just for being "EDGY" and "EXTREME", but for being hands-down better than everyone else. Those are big words, but it's good to have goals, right?

October was the WORST month to submit a movie possible! But I did it! Crossing my fingers to get onto Newgrounds History 2009! >XP!!!!

I managed to finally get an account on this website after watching flash here since 2004. So I'd say it has been quite a year for me. I've already gotten a lot of points and reviews, and I hope to get more.

NG has pwn3d the internet for the longest time.

My resolutions are to lose 20 pounds and to learn to animate in Flash.

Goals for this year:

-keep up a webcomic for a whole year (exercise the drawing and storytelling skills)
-earn money, preferably more than $6000/yr.
-finally get married
-finish up old animation projects
-go to at least one convention
-cross off at least half of the things on my courage list

K...maybe not the best way to express an example...but none the less...you've gotta go at your own pace.
Set your goals "high"....but don't beat yourself if you don't make it right away...or even if you fall behind a bit. Each day has it's ups and downs....you just gotta get some rest and try again.

Facebook: Used to be restricted to students attending Harvard, now its as bad as MySpace...

4chan: Used to be ok, now it just utterly sucks.

7chan: Same as 4chan, but runs at 1/10th speed.

Google: Used to be a nice, friendly search engine, but now they control a vast majority of Ad space on the Internet, have many services which surpass our expectations, but has more power than the owners probobly realise.

EbaumsWorld: Cancer. Has always been Cancer.

Stickam: Very great proof-of-concept website showing the use of compressed Flash video that turned into a haven of camwhores and trolls.

Every website tanks once it reaches a certain plateau depending on how wide it is. Newgrounds has been narrow enough to survive to-date, but that is soon to change. Thats alright. I'll watch the quality of Newgrounds media sink into the dark pit that the above websites have entered. It isn't my boat.
