Hey, got a new animation coming out. Speed Anim 6:ChristmasBattle Party

BUT ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!! It's 18 minutes so the deeper it goes, the more off sync the audio gets.
I have to guess and check the audio and watch it from begining to end.

Thing is, right now, when it hits the 8-10 minute area, the visuals stop! it freezes but the audio continues!

this is driving me nuts! someone please help me! With ACTION SCRIPT!
To go to the next scene, that's all! then from there.

gotoAndPlay ("Scene 8",2)

Should be LITERALY as super simple as litereal, that, literealy am i literaly right?
I am insane right now btw. it's incredibly annoying when 18 minutes is finished, but then it's "not finished" because you have to improvise to make it work.

aos it's for http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/chr istmas2008.html

so it's driving me insane even more, cuase time prssure, i have 2 hours left before december 31 is over. hahahha! muhauhauhauhuahahuahuauhauhauhauha!

hmmm, i have an idea....

but someone please help.

split ur flash into two movieclips. when the second MC loads the audio will auto-sync itself

well it depends on where it starts desyncing. make the MC at that point, and then if it starts again at another place, make another one at the second place.

now that ive helped you, how do you make scenes?

Set your sounds/music as sync in its properties. This will fix the sound to the timeline, and flash will always keep the sounds synced with the animation. Plus, you can listen to the audio while playing the movie in the authoring environment, instead of having to test.

Move on to ActionScript 3.0 already!

scenes saved my life.
like....lets say your movie is 18 minutes like the one I will submit to NG in hours...
sometimes...18 minutes is too hardcore for flash timeline, and you gotta divide it up.
if you dont...ii've experienced it crashing on me
that's how i use it, i'm sure there are more dynamic and creative ways to use scenes.

the more you know about hte program the more you can explain. i don't know too much about the program. only enough to get a movie done.
