I even love pouring Guinness. It's exhilerating. The drink is flawless.

Oh, failed at the first hurdle - you cannot drink Guinness out of a can, even I don't like it too much out of cans. It's got to drunk draught really.

You can pour it from a can. It's more fun if you do it yourself.

Of course you can pour it from a can, but seriously, what beers taste better in cans? The answer is none. Draught beer is better than any other kind. Anything that isn't lager generally tastes crap in a can.

Victoria Bitter, Melbourne Bitter, Carlton Cold, Swan Lager and Swan Draught
If you aint that big a fan of beer, i found it easy to start on cans rather than stubbies cos you could down em faster, but then as ya get further pissed, ya gotta move onto the stubbies, because its easier to get in yer gullet than cans, what with all the holding the can the wrong way ya might be doin....
oh and Stronbow cider pwns all! cider wise anyway.... im not gonna bother goin into other liquers / spirits....

I've had Victoria Bitter (it's one of the few Australian beers you can get in the UK, except Foster's and Castlemaine which don't count) and it's genuinely a nice beer. It's kind of like a cross between a bitter and a lager which shouldn't work but does. Not something I'd drink all the time but nice for a one off. A mate of mine literally can't get enough of the stuff, bought about three crates of out of date stock from our local :-)

Strongbow's OK, but I don't drink cider really.

What a goddamn coincidence! Top Banana has still the unobtrusive cheese and the massive queues and a great night out. :-P Arf. Love it! (Started my first year there)
Beer + Cider = SNAKEBITE!!! the bestest drink ever, oh unless you put in a dash of blackcurrent in there too. Then snakebite blacksPurple you fool, it's called purple :-)
NO! Me and my select group of friends refuse to call it Purple. Although when dealing with a rather dumb person behind the bar, we sometimes have to resort to it. Faaarrrr too sugary up at warwick, you end up getting high off that stuff!
Oh the randomness,

Massive queues? If this is your first year, you're unaware that the queues this year have been nothing like in previous years. I was up for the last weekend of term, and never expected to be able to walk into Top B at 10.30. But at least you've discovered the Graduate. They redid it in the summer of '02 - before then it was never open and shit.

bah, ive never had fosters suprisingly, but a mate of mine when he was out camping and 'boganing' it up, had some and he reckons its just like watered down VB.... and i guess fosters isnt that australian anymore really since its more popular overseas than it is here.... but i have tim (hugh_jarse) for getting me started on swannies, he kept recommending em to me so when i went over to WA earlier this year, i got into a few, and damn they were good...
and for other aussies out there, whats the deal with people liking Cascade Premium or any kind of Cascade for that matter? it just tastes weird to me.
Oh. Your. God.

Most of the people here are not even old enough to drink.
Second of all... most who aren't old enough, lie and make themselves look cool by saying they drink.
"Wow. I am so drunk right now! WOO!!! I AM DRINKING BEER! ...Please love me."
BTW, I've said this before.... Rolling Rock.

wait, whats the legal drinking age over where you are, and who's to say that these people aint drinking yet? most teens around here are starting to drink (well, getting pissed anyway) and stuff at like 14 or 15... unless its of course the 13 year olds you're referring to, or the obvious non-drinkers who you can tell are lying.....

beer = taste better the more cold it is..
cans = good conductor of temperature and electricity, better conductor then glass
so when you pull a can out of a fridge, chances are it's colder then a glass bottle.. also in the case of coca cola cans.. so in closing, beer in cans taste better then bottled beer
and Carlton cold is my fave. the best when chilled
Anthony Mundine has pink gloves.... best FNR4 (PS3) punching bag ever!
