Comedy makes me laugh

I love comedy, all types made by all different people (stand up, shows, movies etc)

I can't get enough of laughing even the crap ones I still try enjoy it. But I also like horror.

Is that weird?

You know what's weird about me. I hate comedy movies and I hate sit coms. I don't know, maybe general comedies just don't cater to my dry sense of humor.

Seriously though I can't stand comedies, I mean when I die and I'm in hell, I will be strapped to a chair with my eyelids eternally peeled open facing a giant screen which will play every movie that had either Will Ferril, Adam Sandler, Jim Carey... or any film based off any of the films those people were in. And in between those films they'll play all the sit coms that I hate, which to be exact every sit com... except Scrubs and a few British shows... but those aren't really sit coms.

I've started to become really analytical with comedy these days because I've started to get into stand-up and I've started looking at why things are funny and why people laugh at certain things. The philosophy of comedy, as it were.

I sort of thought that people laugh at sex jokes and bathroom humor because most people think of those thing as very foul and dirty things, but at the same time these are natural parts of life. The funny thing is that we are disgusted by the things that keep us alive... now that's funny.

You are the exact same as me. I just recently watched "Beavis and Butthead Do America" to "The Descent" to "Little Miss Sunshine" to "Halloween" saturday.
