Mario Gear Solid

Mario Gear Solid, is my latest project. I've been working on it for a little more than a year now. I think I'm taking a pretty unique approach in that, this is a series of 5-10 minute long flash movies. I wanted to do alot with this movie so I decided to cut it into a series of 10 movies (one for about every boss featured in the game).

What else is unique is that this is going to be one of the very few completely mario and MGS related flash movies that doesn't have any sprites in it, thats right I am making all the models. I'm posting this with an advertisement I have circulating around. I want to get alittle hype up. Not that much though. I'm really excited about this movie. Look for a preview January-Mid Febuary.

Sorry, but that's just me. I'm sure your work will be great though, I mean, a year's effort has got to come up with sweet fruits.

I meant for the Japanese to resemble the Japanese version of the game, I imported and played the original back in 98. The Preview is also going to be in Japanese with....interesting subtitles ;).

And In case ur wondering, Half-Ass Head Twirl comes from the first animation I ever made, I tried to make a quick head model spin around, well I got it to do a half turn, then it went back the way it came :P. Later I watched it and thats where hte name derives from.

I lived in Shangai and Hong Kong for a while and its really nice, the only people that are monitored strictly are the chinese the only problem is getting satellite TV as the government don't want people seeing whats going on outside of china. Singapore is 100 times better though.

Dude.. don't advertise flash movies that are "coming soon"... it's just tacky and people overall don't care. Also, they end up expecting heaps and when they finally see it think "wow.. that was shit".

I will be looking forward to watching it but you shouldn't advertise your stuff for the first time because then you will feel pressured and if it sucks, people will blam it, it's better that you released it first and then if you made a sequel, then you advertise about it a week or even a day before it is released... Just a thought, good luck.
