Hi people. This looks like a really cool site =)

For a start, here's a picture of my original character. Her name is Hilde.

Pretty good, it's well done. But it looks like you could colour it in quite easily, perhaps you should do so so it will be better?

Well I haven't done many coloring work since I don't own any graphic tablet or something like that. And coloring with mouse would really suck my energy ^^

Here's another pic of my original character. Her name is Sophie, and she's Hilde best friend.

BTW, Hilde and Sophie are both inspired by the main characters of "Sophie's World" by Jostein Gaarder, if anyone here have heard about it.

Here's my original design of some orc guy. Doesn't look too scary like the usual orc of fantasy stories, 'cause I wanted it to look more humane and civilized. This orc design appeared in my comic.

But my art style is getting less and less anime-ish.

I've got 5 new artworks.

This one is about a boy, a guardian monster, and a flame of spirit. The meaning is kind of abstract. But I hope the picture rocks hard enough :)

I made the linearts manually, with drawing pens. I scanned it, then edited it with Photoshop CS2.

If you want to get involved in a little something-something, check out the Storybook Collab.
It's a collaboration between writers, artist, musicians and VAs and we seem to be in short supply of people like you.

Awesome, clean stuff here. You're very imaginative in your character and fashion design.

the great wind warrior guy ones are kinda weird, like i can't really describe it, just they all seem a little off, i'm thinking that the proportions are hella fucked up

but everything else is great. not the most original style ever, but still very good. i like the one you toned, looks like its straight out of a pro manga.

The Great Wind Warrior dudes were meant to be unrealistic in anatomy. So, well, I don't think there's any serious anatomy problem :)

Personal favourite by a LONG shot, perfectly rendered beautiful linework, GREAT peice of work.

I have problems with the others though, and it revolves around the facial anatomy, they just seem way to wide and with badly drawn lips it doesn't help the matter ><

Still alot of potential here so keep it coming :D

like, i dunno. it just looked a little off to me. the costume and weapons and whatnot are great just he looks a little weird. its still a good drawing tho.

well anime/manga styles can only be so original. your style is pretty good, its not the stereotypical mediocre big-eyed spikey haired motherfuckers so yeh, better than most at least, you'll prolly make some pretty cool shit in the future

Thanks for comments on that Sophie pic. I don't think I really deserve the praises, since Manga Studio makes toning works much easier :) All you have to do is selecting the area (using tools like lasso), after that, adding some cool-looking tone won't be hard at all.
