Hiding the site you're using.

I was watching porn the other day, and I thought that i should open up a different site in another tab, in case someone walked in. If someone did, I would mute the sound and change tabs (very quickly) so they wouldn't know what I was doing. I have never had to do this. Anyhoo, I needed to choose a site for this extra tab, so i decided upon the NG forums. It was perfect. It would look like I was just lurking the BBS, about to post. I then looked at some of the topics general had, and quickly changed my plans. Now, whenever someone walks in when I'm using the NG BBS, I switch to a video of violent gay porn.

I don't want my family to judge me, is all. Do any of you do something similar?

I sometimes use javascript:document.title="LOLTITLE HERE";void(0) to change the title.

if the BBS code breaks "javascript" into two words, make it one. Take out any spaces (except in quotes) as well.

Get firefox and get the "Tab renamerizer" (or something like that) add on.

Just open 2 tabs, and if you right click it there-s an option for Renaming the tab. So rename the Porn one something, and bring the other tab to NG or whatever.

How did you get into the habit of switching tabs from the forum to your private shizzle?

Porn in one tab, something else in another, cursor on the cross ready to cross it off. It's pictures usually so I don't need to mind about sound. If I'm extra paranoid, I'll have two windows open. One with whatever I want, another with the porn. The one with the porn, I'll have a blank tab. Then when someone bursts in, I'll change tab and then alt-tab to the other window.
