i joined in 2003 but ive been coming here long before then. i got an account so i could rate flash and enjoy some of the funny and kick ass movies/games.
but as of late..what with all the spam flash and useless crap thats been pooling into the portal
thats not why i joined newgrounds..all these spam artists have been pissing me the fuck off!!!!!
i just vote zero automaticly everytime i see the initals DD, KK or FFF!!! these fuckers have been flooding the portal with spam on a constant basis! i joined newgrounds for fun \
i didnt join so i could be annoyed on a daily basis!
with that aside...go check out my band!!

I made mine, hoping to be as good as Egoraptor someday, but that ain't gonna happen soon ( cuz I don't have flash yet!). I did it cuz I thought it was cool.

I joined NewGrounds.com because my fiancé Katherine works at a marketing firm, she helped design dynamic advertisements and this website is one of her clientele. Considering Katherine deals a lot in animation, I watched some of the animations hosted on this site more recently and it sparked my creative interest.

I joined because I wanted to become an animator.

I came here to submit my own flash; and get away from all the strict rules of the real world.

I joined because My friend said that the people on here were contraindicating, assholes. Well, I like to argue with people like that.

I found this site several years ago looking for porn.

I didn't even know this website had forums until about 1 year ago, and I didn't give a shit until recently.

Like someone said before, I was looking for games to play and since I didn't want to join Neopets, I clicked on the Newgrounds link instead. Visited for about 2 years before I made an account.

I, too, should've chosen Neopets... maybe I'd be pure, still...

I joined because my brother showed me this site. The reason I still come is because I have learned (and continue to) a great deal.

I installed a thirty-day trial for Flash cs4, which I haven't done anything meaningful with. I figured I could get the trial, and then, when that ran out, at least I'd have an account. I try to make it a point to contribute a steady vote to ng in order to gain experience (I missed two days in a row.) Although, without contributing Flash, it feels like something's missing. It's like uploading Flash is the next step up. Without that, it's all a bunch of empty status. Maybe I shouldn't feel that way, as it seems quite a few of you didn't create accounts for the sole purpose of creating Flash. Not initially, at least. Anyhow, that's my deal, b***hes, take it or leave it.

I joined in 2005, when I was 12. One of my friends introduced me to the website before that, when I was 11, and I just kind of thought "oh these mature games are pretty cool."

Then, another friend introduced me to Macromedia products, mainly Flash. I started doing Flash, and then I signed-up here to submit and go to the Flash forum. As time progressed, I became better at Flash and whatever.

Now I am creating my own website, inspired by Newgrounds.

My original username was Thomas2005. Then, it was -Thomas-. Then, it was -Thomas. Finally, they banned hyphens, and it became just Thomas.

ive been coming here scince i was 11, i finally wanted to submit some flash, so i made an account about 3-4 years ago to do so. i submitted real shithouse work, so i abandoned that account and email address and made new ones last year or early this one.

still waiting for my god damn voice actor to send me the rest of his lines. ive only been waiting for about 2 months.

never trust a VA. unless its rinachan, she got her lines back within the week. shes cool.

The first time I came here was the year that NG had all those porn ads. I was disgusted by this and did not return until '06, after being linked by the ultimate showdown video. I made an account shortly thereafter.

How stupid I was back then. I should have appreciated those ads, no hated them. and now, I miss them, a little. Oh well. The internet is a cesspool for porn. I think I've seen enough.

I've been going on newgrounds for about a year and finally decided to sign up.

I initiated on Newgrounds because first of all, this guy invited me to join and before I signed-up, I saw some hentai-related games that gave me more attraction to join and I visited my friend's Friendster account and heard a different music that delighted me and he said that it came on Newgrounds, so, I did checked out the track. I think it was made by TatsukiTakahashi or whatever his name was. I just don't remember but the title of that song was "-TT- In Your Face" I think.
