Sorry about your loss, but remember his/her death as a lesson to not feed them things that have bones next time you get a pet. If you do, obviously remove them before you feed them.
No time to remove the bones for a pet? Then you are simply lazy or you must not love them enough. When you adopt a pet or find one and decide to take care of it, then do so. Pet's depend on their master's to keep them alive, if you can't even have the time to remove the chicken bones to feed your pet, get him/her dog food.
If your dog just happen to find a bone and start swallowing it, try to keep the area clean as possible. I hope your next pet won't suffer the same fate.
