My friend got a Mac OS 2008-12-24 20:46:11 Reply

So my friend went down to a local apple store yesterday and purchased a copy of the Mac OSX and got it working on his PC today. I saw how it ran and I was quite impressed with the results, I guess it would be nice to dual-boot with Windows and Mac.

It is not illegal to install a genuine copy of OSX on an Intel based computer of any kind.

It all about the Pentiums baby.

yes it is, it must be an "apple certified" computer to be legal

personally I think this is a croc of shit; apple can take their stupid restrictive operating system and shove it for all I care

A User-End Agreement does not make it technically illegal, what you are doing is voiding the warranty on the product.

He's pretty much correct. And to add to the absolutely upsetting news, Apple could sue your friend's ass for using their product on a "non-Apple certified" computer.

umm. so can all macfags proceed to suck their mum's dicks as they see how mone- er, cum-hungry steve jobs is?

i use windows xp, vista [on my lappy - i dont want to piss away the warranty yet] and debian. and they all work fine for the hardware they're on. someone mentioned in another thread that apple computers wil lserve them long time. ummm, my amd athlon xp 1600+ dates back to 1998, so suckadick. and i bet it plays more modern games then your g5, fagg0000000000000000000000000000ts

i need a spliff :(

My ideal computer is either a Windows powerhouse or a small, cheap machine with dual-boot XP and Linux.

Oh, so now you're knocking down two very good internet browsers and a very successful Operating System? Go back to your outdated XP, and wallow in your old hardware.

Alright, at least you responded better than some other people in a certain thread.

Do give Windows 7 a try when it is released, though.
