Hey dudes.
I was just reflecting on 2008, and thinking where the hell has the time gone....I can still remember last new year when i was out in egypt, it seems like yesterday. So NG what makes time fly?

I mean really how come that one week the time will just fly by and the week will seem like just a couple of days and another week will feel like numerous weeks. I just want to know because for me and my friends and family 2008 feels like it has just flown by within a couple of months.

So again i ask NG.

Age may have a part in it. When I was in grade school the year couldnt end early enough, but now that Im 19 the past few years seem like a blur.

Maybe those milestones make time slow down: learning to walk, first crush, getting your drivers liscense, etc. With old age you've done a lot and what do you have to look forward to? Weak immune systems, achy joints, and death of friends.

It may be a big joke by the cosmos on us.

I won't go into detail, but I read an interresting snippet. Time goes faster during "panic events" and during tasks which the brain has already experienced. Time while also generally "feel" faster the younger you are.

So there you go.

I don't know. i guess it's your minds perception of time. Think about it. When your sitting there thinking "this is gay" it seems like time is going by slower, but when you don't think about it, or when your busy, time goes by seemingly faster.

Ive also found that to be true. Now adays time goes by in a blur but so long ago it didn't.

I know what you mean and it's all about what happening in your life. This year seems to have been on of those years where incredible things happen and when that's the case, people tend to lose track of time, and losing track of time due to the good or to the bad is what makes time fly. Time creeps when you're in pain or don't have anything to do. Seems like you're pretty outgoing with the Egypt trip and stuff so, i'm not suprised time flies for you.
