Is NG evolving that fucking fast?

For some reason newgrounds seems more alien to me. It's like I'm growing old and I can't understand the new culture that's taken the place of the old one. There are new fads, styles, people and everything in between seems different.

Is it me?

Even though I'm a recent user, this place has definitely changed from it's adult ad-filled Problems of the Future days.

Back in 05/06, something about the BBS made it seem very.. cuddly.
I mean, sure, there was the typical NG 'violence' and the arguments and all that. But in the end, everyone could relate.

Nowadays it's crap.

Newgrounds hasn't changed, you probably have.
Unfortunately, so many people go get so used to Newgrounds, that when the person finally takes a break, all the culture is different, which causes almost a form of culture shock upon returning.
That's why I never go on this site to much in a short timespan. =D

I don't know, NG is just becoming one of those sites with lots of new wave internet retards. I remember NG back in 2003-2004 being the badass Web 1.0 site it was, full of violent flashes and filthy porn ads, it was great. I also miss the pop-up profiles, they looked all personalized and sweet. That used to be NG's thing, having that cool shit and all, but sadly is kind of turning into a myspace type with the user profiles. Still, it's pretty awesome compared to other shitholes like Gaia and youtube.
