Brilliant photo, although I wonder if it's been 'shopped. Even if it's legit, MS has nothing to fear from Apple unless they open up their OS to run on all PC's. Apple isn't stealing market share from MS if Mac users are dual booting their systems. Hell, they're adding market share to MS by allowing people to dual boot.

Mac has good video and music editing capabilities
Other than that, you basically have to make it into a PC to do stuff
I hate people that are like "OMG MY MAC CAN RUN WINDOWS!!!"
Well if you want to run windows, why get a Mac, they're so clearly inferior in terms of hardware
Your Mac may have cost 1700 dollars, but my Dell laptop with 4 gigs of ram cost 1300...And I bet it is far better than your mac
My friend built his own computer with an Intel Pentium Quad Core processor and 8 gigs of RAM, and it was under 2000 dollars. And the worst thing is, you can't efficiently upgrade a Mac, you basically have to buy new
Enjoy your fail

aside from my i touches, i strongly dislike the style of most apple products, and not to mention hardware is rubbish for gaming and there are few games AND the games for mac are 89 bucks opposed to 49 on pc,

Plainly put, unless it was an exclusive program designed or produced by apple, or is aimed to manipulate a mac's hardware (i don't think any programs exist for this purpose), any program will most definitely be ported for windows. And the exclusive mac programs will always have function-equivalent knockoffs, the only downside being that you lose your spiffy apple interface.
Clearly, you have never had the need for Final Cut Pro, then. I, on the other hand, extensively make use of the software, and know beyond reasonable doubt that no windows equivalent exists that can give me the same level of editing capability, and I have indeed tried Adobe Premiere.
There are many mannerisms of the Mac that allow me to increase my own productivity, and this definitely includes the fact that antiviral programs are completely unnecessary on the Mac as long as you run OSX.
The point of running Boot Camp and Parallels on the Mac is to wean you off of Windows' programs. Essentially, its a stopgap measure, a temporary half-step. Because of Apple's increasing market share, the availability of programs for the Mac is in all major categories becoming a smaller gap. You run Windows for the few programs that don't yet have a Mac equivalent -- and having used Macs for two decades, now, I can say with certainty that I'm hard-pressed these days to find a program I need that doesn't have an equivalent version for the Mac.
I would much rather be able to run the snappy, small-footprinted OSX than the large and sluggish footprint that characterizes Windows Vista, and even XP, in comparison. It's not hard to figure this out; when the few programs you need that only have Windows versions come out for the Mac, which occurs with more rapidity than ever before, you ditch XP or Vista, and complete the migration to the Mac, whereby the better interface and performance improves your experience.
macs are more for the layed back person. pcs do more stuff, have more problems. macs are starting to be able to do more. i hope for a computer with the easy to use of a mac with the capability of a pc. i think pcs are better, though i hate them. i use xp, will never use a vista, or mohave, which is vist with another name to do anything but fix the problems. once macs can do what pcs can and are a lot cheaper then they are now, i am going to get one.
Well I never tried macs before so I can't convince you that macs don't suck.
You are now breathing manually. You are now aware of your posture. You can now feel your clothes on your body. You now itch in various places.
Well, they're aimed at posers and kids, ain't they? I'm sure the mac OS is much better than windows, but the cost, and the pretentious fucks that use it, just puts me off. And Macs look weird.
Macs are idiot-proof, with a simplified and advanced version of everything.
Windows are savvy-proof, with a way to fix any error, as long as you don't mess with the system files.
Linux is like a rubber-band. It will stretch to fit your needs, but sometimes you need to snap it then fix it back together (use the command tool thing is unavoidable sometimes)
The only thing about Macs that suck are its elitist fan-base that will stop at nothing to exaggerate Vista's flaws, and their high price. Their commercials following the "Hi, I'm a Mac" format are getting ridiculous, as well. The rest of their commercials are pretty creative.
PC is not as prone to error as elitist douche-bags would have you believe. I've only had two cataclysmic errors with my computer in the 4 years I've had it, and two were down to hardware failure, which has nothing to do with the operating system. The fucking fan is a piece of shit, and it fried. The 2nd time I actually lost sound, and had to install a new sound card.
It's pros include Gaming, lower price, and being able to crack the fucking thing open and put in new hardware yourself.
Macs aren't that bad, really. PC isn't any better. It's just down to user preference, and knowing how to run your preferred operating system.

Because ram is the only piece of hardware required to run a computer.
:3
I've never found "Right click->New File" useful.
If you want to make a file, you should probably open the program you want to make the file in first.
The only use for "Right Click->New" is for making a new folder.
Macs are meant for visual/audio production. I find Macs are easier to use for visual/audio production.
PCs, not so much.
And now, if you really want to, you can use a Windows OS on a Mac. For some reason you can't use Mac OS on Windows. I think Windows just refuses to.

IF i tried to convince u that macs suked, you would first have to no how to make a file.
thanks to Lorkas for the sig idea and the base of the sig.
Are you kidding? I've said above Macs have been able to right click since before 1998 and all macs are shipped with 2 button mice since 2004. If a mac doesn't have a 2 button mouse, just connect one or use ctrl+click instead.
lol whoops.
I'm a bit behind, aren't I :P
You can watch porn on a mac.
Also BonusStage looks exactly like the mac guy.
I love how there's so much bigotry in here, and at the same time, so many geniuses who actually know what they're talking about.
I heard Macs don't get viruses...
eh.
i cant, because they are garbage. and i dont like to lie anyways.

Well, in my opinion, Macs look nicer.
Most of the better stuff that you could get for your Mac is first party (GarageBand, iMovie, etc.)
No viruses. I love how it doesn't have viruses.
Macs do suck. A good friend of mine always goes on about her Mac, I ask her, 'what exactly is so good about a Mac?' same responces all the time: 'But it doesnt get viruses' and 'It doesnt get BSOD' and the good old 'I can use my Ipod with it by simple plug and play'
I built my own windows/linux rig 2 years ago, I've had one BSOD because the fan attatched to my processor was loose and thats all. Ive had no viruses because I took the three minutes it takes to find NOD32 and not download 10kb 'lesbian porn' off limewire. I can run Farcry 2/Mass Effect on highest specs easily, this rig cost me just over £700 for the components, it would cast triple that to get a mac of the same standard.
Lets face it. There are no advantages to owning a Mac unless:
a.) You're a computer retard
b.) You use Finalcut Pro
c.) You want to appear pretentious.
Feran.
With an 'A'
b.) You use Finalcut Pro
I only use macs for that... i dont own a mac, but thats what we have to use, i tried to use premiere instead, and got the face eaten of me

Oh god can RageVI just post here please.
none
you dont need to make a topic about it, mac fans feel the need to convery anyone with a pc no matter the place. They are like the nerd version of jahovas witnesses

Linux is absolutely great. I just wish big name game developers would port games to it. I run Ubuntu on my EEE netbook though and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I personally don't like Macs because of their interface. Since I was 5 I've always had a Windows OS. Then during my senior year of high school I had to use a Mac for my computer class I wish I didn't. I hated the mouse, the interface, and the freakin command button. The only good thing Mac has going for it in my opinion is Garage Band. Everything else I can do on a Windows interface.
In my experiences Linux > Mac > Windows.
Oh Jesus, here we go again... *facepalm*
