AdBlock Plus if you dislike ads.
and
ImageZoom if you like being able to zoom into images. (Hold right click and move mouse wheel in or out)

TinyMenu's a good one, especially if you want to have browser space that rivals even Google Chrome's.

Oh, just to let you know: In case you have a mouse with a really accurate and smooth scroll wheel/ball like the Apple Mighty Mouse, then any of the Smooth Scrolling addons won't make it any better, in fact, it makes it a little too slippery.

I dislike Firefox - it always seems to take forever to get started. Then it runs without errors, but still.

I just change my themes on a regular basis, you should also get some ad blocking things... and a nice little music player wouldn't hurt.

If you like a big, open, no toolbar view, download "TinyMenu" I've noticed that restarting FF an any given time can be helpful, "QuickRestart" "DictionaryToolTip" allows you to select and right click a word, then find it's definition (Damn you mods) And lastly, "WiredMarker" Which allows you to highlight text in 7 different colors.

Does 3 still have that unusable address bar? I downgraded to 2 after about half an hour, since it really is impossible to use like a real URL bar.

I remember getting that once, or something like it. It was cool for the first couple days, then I just never used it again. Its only good for having fun with google images...which afterawhile you just want simple, easy to find thumbnails again.
