Well, being the ambitious person I am, I have decided to start working on a fairly extensive Pico Day game over my Holiday Break. You may be wondering why I'm starting this early. Well the answer is simpe...I plan I remaking Pico's School in full 3D and have it be a sexy FPS with RPG elements (the story line will have to be expanded a tad). I will also be working on this by myself (so the artwork and music will suck, lol).
I wasn't sure if worklog type posts are allowed in the programming forum or not, but I decided to go for it anyways. I'm working with Blitz3D (oh haha, a BASIC language, aren't I cool?) due to the time constraint as I hope to get this all done before break's over. If not, I've left myself plenty of time between then and Pico Day.
Today I worked on just the level editor. Starting from scratch I think I got a fair bit done. Included is a screenshot of the level editor in action. Tomorrow I'll work up a way to add all the different objects like chairs, desks, chalkboards, and whatnot. Maybe I'll even add some lighting. But for now:
