I did this a couple nights ago, because I was bored and wanted to add something to my DeviantART. It's Flonne from Disgaea, if you wanted to know. (It took me 3 hours.)

I'm not accusing you of theft or anything but did you use this as reference? It seems very similar.

If not good job, although its a shame there appears to be some artifacting going on, namely around the red edges.

I was originally going to try and copy that one, but made changes to it later on while I was drawing it. But, yeah that image was basically what got me started on it. (The artifacts came from having to convert it into a JPEG.)

Despite that, I didn't trace it, as I can't feel fulfilled if I do. (In other words, I can't finish or even keep the work if I do trace it, as I don't feel it was 'genuinely' created, if that makes sense.)

I'm still learning how to draw Anime anyway, so I have to start with references of some sort, don't I?

Very nice shading and lighting (although there isn't much shine to it but. meh). I like it. 8/10 I would say ^_^

I drew it in Flash 8 and did some stuff to it using Photoshop CS3. The PNG version of this looks much better, but I'm apparently not allowed to post links? (I'm not on NG much at all, in fact this is my first post in a long time.)

I like the edited version much more, the unedited one is too... well, I can't find the word for it, but there's definitely something missing, which is why I had to jazz it up in Photoshop. (For those who can't quite grasp English, both of these versions are mine, one of them is in raw format, so to speak.)
