I was fooled into painting a fence.

A few days ago me and my girlfriend Were driveing to Petersburg, Missouri to viset her family. When we got there i really did not feel like talking to her family. They are so boring. So i took a walk. Then i saw this kid right. He was painting this fence right. Then he said to me "Boy painting this fence sure is mighty fun."

I did not belive him and said "It looks like work to me." He then said "Well is it every day that somebody gets to paint a fence white?" He had a point. I never get to paint fences. Then painting that fence started to look like fun. So i said "Hey kid...Can i have a turn?" He said back "Well heck sure. If you are willing to pay me twenty bucks. Also My names Tom." So after i payed him the money i started to paint the fence. When i was done i was tired and sweaty. The fence looked really nice. Then Tom came back and said "Well good job. I hope you had fun painting that fence. " He then walked off.

I now understand what happend. That kid Tom tricked me into painting a fence for him. I feel so stupid. When i got back home and told my friends they all laughed at me...

Anyways else get fooled like this?
