Oh thanks!
Just messing around:
Took forever to finish this...

A few hours a day for about a week.
Designing a character for the sake of designing a character. Thought you guys might find the progression interesting. I'm getting closer to the look I intended, but still have a bunch of tweaks to make. Also practicing painting without lines. Because I suck at it.

I like this one!
like the mouth of the girl wrapped around the lollypop and the beautiful rendering and contrast of the bodies.
only the bg doesn't fit imo? why'd you make it so grainy?

I coloured the background first and added a noise layer on top because it looked too flat and plain. I flattened the layers really early on. I tried to reduce the noise towards the end but I didn't think it was obtrusive enough to repaint it. I guess I was wrong :\

That's a really cool character design.

Here's a new one.
Wtf png... Why do you sometimes work and sometimes go crazy?
Maybe a sister of sorts of the blue headed one. I used posemaniacs as a reference for the pose, so the anatomy is not as stylized as my previous drawing, which I am not happy about. I need to work out how female anatomy would look when stylized in the same way as my previous character design. :\

She needs some hips, she has no hips or curves really. It'll make her seem a lot more female if she has hips and also perhaps more boob like boobs. Like make the gap in between then far smaller while keeping them at the same width.
They are a cool set of characters though. With very nice colours.
I'd give her a big collar too so she also looks like some sort of torch.

Thanks for the critique, pal! I did another to try to address some of the issues you pointed out. It's kind of sloppy and awkward, but whatever. Good practice.
My poor attempt at Escalus' style. I suck at drawing :( And the thread was locked :( Remember when the art forum was fun? :(

Her boobs are too close together. Her left (our right) boob needs to be moved over... Or her armpit should look different. Boobs natural rest pointing away from each other a bit.
References will help a lot. Face looks pretty good though.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I always have trouble with anatomy. I'm always surprised how much difficulty I have drawing boobs considering the amount of time I have spent looking at them lol. I will definitely have to spend some time drawing from reference for practice. Thanks again.
Time spent looking at them doesnt matter, its understanding how they look and work that matters, without comprehension you will not be able to draw a subject. Instead of copying anatomy when you study it seek to understand how and why it works they way it does.
Thoughts in chaos...

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I will try to keep that in mind in the future. Thanks a lot!

Ever since I started getting serious about art and understanding the human form I have never looked at porn the same way again... Heh.
Also I find myself looking at people's faces and thinking about how I would draw them. Yeah.
I've been working a bit on some grey paintings from photos of random people, but mostly I've just been leaving photoshop open 24/7 pretending that I might work on them... I'm very busy lately due to the Steam sale... But I am waiting for a download to finish so I figured I'd doodle a bit and this is what happened. There was no rhyme or reason to it.

Becckyyyyyyyyyy lol oh thanks pal! <3 <3
This is a quick attempt at a self portrait I did mostly by touching my face as a reference. Obviously some of it was made up but I tried to do as little of it from my imagination as possible.
More crappy art. I will try to post something decent in the near future.

But first a portrait. Probably a few more to follow...
Another portrait. The likeness is terrible and I can't seem to fix it so I think I'll call it done and try again.
Been doing some anatomy practice. I'm still pretty awful at drawing and I oh man so slow. Even this thing took me over an hour I bet and it's pretty awful. I need to practice hair, feet, hands, clothing really badly. And furniture. Pretty much everything but cartoony goblin men. Anyways.
Probably an improvement over the last one in most ways but still a little messed up. Hair is flowing the wrong way. The legs are connected to the body really wonky. At least this one has shoulders.
