Yeah. Let's explain the topic. I was minding my business on the BBS, lurking and stuff, and my Mom rushes in, announcing that something went screwy in the boiler room. The boiler was smoking, and there might be a Carbon Monoxide leak. From what I know, Carbon Monoxide is deadly, as well as being colorless and odorless.
Someone's coming to repair the boiler, but still, being the paranoid, ADHD-fueled person that I am, I'm shaking, and typing this by hitting backspace after almost keystroke (Thank God I type 35 Words Per Minute!).
Oh well, I'm going to do the only thing I can at the moment:
Ask Newgrounds.
So, what should I do?

You know, they actually make carbon monoxide detectors. Looks just like a smoke alarm.
And if the repairman said it was OK to go back in, then it's OK. Promise. But just in case, symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning is the same as lack of oxygen. Increased heart rate, dizziness, lightheadedness, stuff like that.

Despite the all-caps, I agree with him.
Inside a bulding with a possible carbon-monoxide leak is not the place you want to be. Grab your family and get out of there. Go over to a friends for the evening or something, until they are sure that any danger has passed.
It's not being paranoid, it's being safe.

You should totally light a fatty up and join the club. It's totally gonna help relieve the carbon monoxide....

My bad, read the OP wrong. Yes, get out of there until someone tells you it's safe to do otherwise.

Feeling lightheaded.
I'm fine though.
However, I smell a distinct 'burnt rubber' smell.
Also, my room is on the opposite side of the house, but it's a far drop from my room. Damn erosion from the early eras.
My room, being on the first floor, is stillat least three meters off of the ground.
Also, I'm a bit hungry, and there's a pizza in the fridge, which is in the kitchen near the boiler room.
I'm torn between two decisions...
Pizza, or survival?
Well, I'm going to be stupid and get some pizza. If I don't post in 15 minutes, some crazy shit just happened.

Get a canary and lock it in the boiler room, if it drops dead you know you got carbon monoxide.

you know you have no life when there's a deadly gas in your house, and instead of running out the door (like any sane person) you had to sit down and quickly type and post this topic? wow.

I never want to be in a situation where there's a carbon monoxide leak in my house.
Thank god for the carbon monoxide detector that's about 8 feet away from me. :)

Also, the Carbon Monoxide leak is at minimal to none. Good night, Newgrounds.

I don't believe in it. If I can't see, smell, or feel it, then it's about as real as the boogeyman.

Do you not have a CO detector in your house?

You are sure it is monoxide? Yes it is very deadly, and being lighter then air, you could easily inhale it unlike carbon dioxide which settles near the floor. You should be worried.

I don't know what I am since I type a hell of a lot faster when typing a coherant sentence, and all the typing speed tests are just random words...
With random words I'm about 70 WPM...
