I've been all over the Greek Mainland. As far north as Florina and Thessaloniki and as far south as Sparta. I saw (almost) everything you could see in between:

- Raced my family on the ancient running track at Olympia.
- Breathed in awe of the sheer mountain rock-structures of Meteora.
- Walked the ancient ruins of Delphi.
- Held silent vigil at the Leonidas Monument at Thermopylae.
- Walked through the ancient city of Sparta.
- Traversed the Citadel of King Agamemnon.
- Climbed the Panathenaic Way up to the Acropolis of Athens.
- Spat into the Isthmus.

Probably the only thing I missed was a glimpse of Mt. Olympus. We drove past it at night. God I wish I was home again...

I'm thinking of going my sophmore or senior year since my enlish teacher always takes a class to greece during summer. And as for the euro, fucking awesome.

That's the tiny land bridge that connects the Pelopponesus to the rest of Greece. A while back they cut a huge canal into it that is several kilometers/miles in length so that ships could sail through without having to go all the way around. They have a several bridges that connect the two sides.

I spat off one of them into the canal. While a ship was sailing underneath.
