Odysseus did not participate. He wanted Penelope (socute socute)

Still, a giant duel/brawl is different then picking straws, and obviously people wanted to marry her.

I think it was either one or the other, nobody wanted to marry her or loads of people wanted to marry her and They had to pic straws. Like picking the long straw maybe.

They all wanted to marry her. But there was not that much blood. Maybe from the horses they cut up to serve as token of an oath.

This is weird, but, I'm getting a bit bored of Ancient Greek Mythology. :O
