Just curious to know if the game is good because I might buy it. Are there many flaws or is it too repetitive?
It is actually really good, nothing innovative, but it's reaaaally entertaining, if you buy it, I'm probably sure you'll pass through the game in 10 or 11 hours, but it's so cool and the gameplay's so sick that you'll want to play it again and again to unlock all skins and lightseed, worth a buy, trust me, and it's made by Ubi Montreal :D A company next to my house hehe.

I heard the game was good, but in my opinion I don't like the cartoony feel, if there was a dramatic moment in this game like in the other ones, I probably wouldn't feel it, seeing outlines and crazy shit all over the place.

I remember playing it wayyyyyy back when it came out, it's a really nice game.
Everything about prince of persia was repetitive. THe combat felt so boring, and the platforming was all the same.
Also did i mention you can't die? I mean ever! Your more invincible than you are in the lego games series.

Venom, I'm actually make my own opinions WHEN I'm playing the game itself, I've played PoP for a while, and it's good, like I said, nothing innovative, but freakin' etertaining. I'm not basing my opinions on reviewer, but I'm not the kind of person who play all the shits that is coming out to the video store. To save me some time, when I don't feel to play a game, I'm going on IGN to see the score, if it's great, I'll maybe want to check for it, if it sucks, well maybe I'm going to find something interesting about it, and try it too. Y'know, it's just that I have a life, and that I'm not going to try every f*ckin' games that are coming out each weeks. Reviews are good, if you want to see an opinion on a game that's not interesting you, otherwise, I'm playing games all the times, game that I'm interessed in.
This game looks way too easy and short to be good.

I'll admit the "death" mechanic may need a bit of tweaking, but it is there for a reason, to punish you. If you fall in PoP, Elika saves you. If you go down in combat, she resurects you. You didn't got it now did you ? Being saved by Elika is the same as dying gameplay wise, meaning bosses will heal and that you will come back to the last platform you were on if you miss a jumo, it dosen't make the game casual at all, it only skips the GAME OVER screen. You could suck balls and never be able to advance in the game.

uh no its not the same. When you die in PoP, you go to the very last platform you were on .
You die in a real game. You start the entire level over or at a check point, or you lose a life or whatever merits a punishment. PoP doesn't punish you at all for dying. In fact you can take leaps of faith to get every item in the game and not worry about dying.
In a real game if you took a leap of faith to grab an item, you don't get to keep that item, because your dead! PoP you can jump to your hearts content, and it takes every challenge there is away from the thing.
And you'd have to really suck balls to not be able to do the platforming in this game, so the likelyness that you do fall makes the shit all the more easy.
Now in combat, when you die in a real game, you have to fight the guy again. Thats how it works, you die, you start over. You die, you start over!! You shouldn't deserve to continue the fight if you died. Wheres the fun in that? PoP brings you back and slaps on 25% health back on the bad guy. A health that can easily be taken away with a follow up attack after that dumb bitch grabs your hand for the 10 hundreth time.
PoP fails in every way. The art looks great, but the character models fail! The combat had potential, but its stiff and boring and repetitive. The platforming was fun the first 10 minutes, but you shouldn't try to copy the "letsputlargegapsinbetweenbosseswithnoap parentchallenge" part that Shadow of the Collosus failed at. The boss battles don't make up for all the pointless invincible jumping and running.
Theres another thing. 6 bosses? Oh gee, thanks UbiSoft. How long did all those character designs take you? Few days perhaps? Well at least all the non bosses will liven things up... oh whats that you say? There aren't any? Just those 6 douche bags? Well at least there all different.... wait what? They all fight the same you say? And all my combos do the same thing no matter who the boss is? Well at least it wont be complicated for my tiny little mind.
