Ha, that's true.

Also, was anyone here a fan of the cartoon series called "Jackie Chan Adventures"? I've recently been watching the first season of it on Hulu and it's really, really good.

Yeah, it captures the kung fu fighting charm that Jackie Chan's movies have, plus Jackie is a really likable guy, even in cartoon form.

Holy shit yes. I'd wake up every Saturday morning at 6 and barely get a fuzzy signal on my shitty old TV with awful sound just to watch that show. I'M JUST AN ARCHAEOLOGIST!!!

Oh hush, just because we're having a good time doesn't mean you swoop down like a mod. We're posting shit like "OMG I LIEK JACKY CHAN, HE IZ SOOPA KEWL", so just let us have our fun, and plus CapnCrunchdapimp outranks you, so why are you lecturing him?

No disrespect to CapnCrunch, but who founded the club? not him, but me. Just because he has a higher level and more posts does not mean he outranks me in any way. Puddin i thought you would be a good member, but i am having seconed thoughts here. Posting things like that is the reason why the old club was locked. I was not just lecturing him it was a general post directed towards all of you. Just because i don't post all the time does not mean i don't run this place

Fine....Let me be a "good" Poster.

Hey guys, what do you think of Felix the Cat? I've been reading up on him and apparently he was one of animation's earliest stars going back all the way to 1919 (Just to let you know how early this, Mickey Mouse came around in 1928). He's also considered one of the most recognizable cartoons in the world.

You can actually view some of his work on Hulu.

So, what are your guys' thoughts?

Krazy Kat had a cartoon. Its pretty old cartoon so it gets pretty racist at times but its still a funny cartoon.
Anyone know any really good old cartoons? And by old I don't mean Hanna-Barbera cartoons. I mean black and white, before movies had sound cartoons.

Your right in one way that you guys arn't spamming, but some of the posts you make put it out there everyone that you are a simpleton. For example "That guy was awesome" or "Everybody likes puns" that is just the reason why this place needs constant supervision. Something i can't give you guys right now.

they are just fine when they are every few posts, but every post is just not needed when we want to expand the club. This may just be driving them away.

Sorry :I

No need to say sorry. But he was banned at the time i was going to post a new club and another nick club would be a bad idea so i expaned it to all cartoons. He founed the original, but i expaned the idea and made it better. At the time Doc i did not see you as the type to run such a club with all the trolling and spammers it might get locked again so i created one giving Doc the seconed in command so he would still have some power, but not full. As i said when i leave this place for good Doc can take over in full.

On that note Doc you will be incharge until June 12th as i will not be here.

Knowing that this is a club and as to following the rules and staying on topic on this forum.
I for one had enjoyed cartoons, since I first had satellite tv. I know this would sound like I'm a loser, but ever since then all I always watched on tv are mostly cartoons with a few acceptations of live shows. Most of the cartoons I watch are mostly on Cartoon Network, and I enjoyed some of the past times like a lot of you have. I used to like Nick channel also, but as a lot of you know it hasn't been very great.
So anyway good job on having a good forum.

Don't say it makes you a loser. Cartoons are amazing and you should embrace your love for them.
I honeslty think shows like Spongebob and Flapjack can be enjoyed by all ages if people didn't have this preconception that cartoons are "Only for little kids." without taking the time to appreciate them.

I agree. Being looked down upon because I still love cartoons even though I'm almost an adult is pretty unfair in my opinion. Cartoons is 99% of what I watch on TV, because the rest is, to put it bluntly, shit. I don't care what God awful reality TV shows the cool kids are into or sports or anything, I just want a well detailed and animated show with loveable and zany characters that can always make me laugh.

You know how they say "the internet is serious business"...well... it's seems like the same for broadcasting television. All reality shows are taking over peoples minds...leaving them to think that cartoons are nothing but childish antics. I rather watch cartoons rather then desperate housewives or any that bullshit, real life situation crap.

Well it's a love/hate relationship when they serialize Disney movies. Even if in some cases the show itself is entertaining, there's always that annoying drop in quality of animation that comes with it being reduced to a TV series (and the direct-to-video sequels). They also usually replace the voice cast since they can't get the big names for the film to do the entire series.

Saying that though, they're still usually pretty good and although I haven't seen The Emperor's New Groove, I've got to admit that The Emperor's New School is pretty funny at times. I think a lot of that comes down to Patrick Warburton's voice though.

He'd Look Just Like You'd Want Him Too, Some Kind of Slick Chrome American Prince.

May I join? I won't be on all the time but I'll pop in and out!

My favourite cartoons are that of; Johnny Bravo, PPGirls, Corage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Laboratory (Action Hank), and I don't care if it's an 'anime/magna' Dragonball &or Z. These I still watch to this day, lets face it Johnny is adorable. Where can I get links to watch Jackie Chan may I ask?

I infact have a comprehensive knowlage of the Powerpuff Girls episodes because I just think it's such a funny show. Are we allowed to post links here?

If anybody here lives in the UK and does watch Cartoon Cartoons, any input on why Ben 10 has decided to voilently rape the timings of all my favroite shows?!
