It's kinda how you can find a connection to our world in the wacked up world of South Park. Like it the episodes where seniors end up killing people every time they drive and then people take away their licenses.

Yeah, but lately they're getting a little too involved with pop culture and politics. I wish they could come up with some more original stuff like The Imgination Land series. That stuff was hilarious.

That does seem to be the current trend with alot of the newer shows. Well they me be around for about a half of a year and then they realize it is shit and take it off air. Spongbob gets enough time. I think it's amazing. Seth McFarland is a genius. My favorite part of an episode is the court scene in Stewie Kills Lois.

Yeah, I've noticed that there's more Spongebob around than normal. It also shocked me that the show is already 10 Years old.

I honestly thought that the show wasn't going to last that long. Surely all of you guys remember those kids shows that lasted for a season, fizzled out and died. I thought it would end up like that. I guess i was wrong about that, becuase now he has had at least 5 Burger King/ McDonalds Toy series, A full-length motion picture, more TV movies then I can remember, and enough merchandise to rival the Simpsons.

Plus, newer Spongebob is not as good. I think they've used up all of the good ideas, and are now using their "Stock" ideas like "Spongebob goes surfing" or "Spongebob gets a tan".

Honestly I don't like family guy at all anymore. I supposed it was funny in middle school where I thought all the jokes were super raunchy and just saying the word penis was comedy gold but nowadays Family Guy is just to immature for me.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. When you really analyze the show, it's really just potty humor with random clips. Look, I love a good shit joke as much as the next guy, but I don't need 80 of them in one episode and I want some actual plot and storyline to the episodes. People always talk about The Simpsons being worse than Family Guy, but I think as far as writing goes, the Simpsons today is better than Family Guy.

Yeah, well, I'm usually not swayed either way by cartoons. If I feel the need to use another emotion (Which if you look through my history, I have), I will. But if I'm just posting a normal statement, I don't feel the need to. Thanks for noticing though, I like the attention.

I love when in Family Guy, Peter or Stewie makes an analogy, they give an example. Like, "I'm more popular with the kids that Will Smith's nice boy rap!"

Yes, but that wasn't as edgy as the Simpsons. Neither is the Simpsons, actually, when you compare it to Family Guy and Futurama.

You have a point (Simpsons and Futurama anyone?) But they aren't ripoffs if they come from the same person. The one thing that differentiates the two is that Stan in American Dad is uber-patriotic.

Okey guys:

To all active members, what is it only 5-6 of you? Not what i had expected after this place haveing being around so long i would have expected more out of this. This is my closure post to this club as i don't feal the need to be active, theres no conversational valule going on here and what little conversaton that goes on in here is not very good of anyones standards including mine. So i will pass the torch to you Doc as i will drop my title as club leader and give it to you. If this place ever becomes very active again as it was months ago i will assume my title again and you can't tell me otherwise.
